It’s all about the architecture here, as the inside is a bit hit and miss as it stands, But this is definitely worth talking about.
The house is one of a small number of individually-designed properties, none of which come up for sale often. This one is certainly expansive and eye-catching, an angular property with some stunning views thrown in as a nice bonus.
So on the face of it, pretty amazing. But the inside just doesn’t cut it as it stands. Yes, those sloping ceilings and wood cladding are rather nice. But the house has been heavily updated throughout with a rather neutral finish, which has taken away the character we presume was once there.
However, we have said it before. Much of this is decor and that’s down to personal taste. There is no reason why you can’t add in your own taste and perhaps give this place an update and a bit of personality. This one could be stunning with a new owner and an eye for detail.
As it stands, the hallway with marble flooring leads to triple aspect reception space with half vaulted raised ceiling into the dining area and sun lounge. Beyond that is a kitchen / breakfast room two additional rooms both currently used as study space. The left hand side of the house hosts four double bedrooms, two of which have a large en-suite bathroom.
Adjacent to the double garage is an annexe with separate entrance doors front and rear, which is currently used as a workshop with it’s own WC. It’s ideal for an office, games room or den if you fancy converting. Possibly even a guest house.
